All on X Implant

All on X Implant

The “All-on-X” (often “All-on-4”, “All-on-6”, etc.) concept refers to the replacement of an entire dental arch (upper, lower or both) using a strategic number of high-density implants supporting a full-arch fixed prosthesis (typically all-ceramic or zirconia). Because all remaining teeth are missing, such full-mouth rehabilitation restores facial support (cheeks, lips), enhances biting and chewing ability, and reverses the esthetic changes associated with tooth loss (sunken cheeks, increased wrinkles, impaired lip function).

While modern implantology enables less invasive approaches, detailed pre-operative assessment (bone volume, tissue health, occlusion) and continued follow-up are essential for optimal outcomes. Technological advances (digital planning, guided surgery, bio-active surfaces) continue to evolve the field.
