What are Crowns?
A dental crown (also known as a “cap”) is a full-coverage restoration that is placed over a prepared tooth to restore its normal shape, size, strength and appearance. When a tooth is extensively damaged, weakened or after root-canal therapy, a crown provides structural protection and functional restoration.
